Meet Koboko Master
Gbadamosi ThankGod Benard is a Nigerian comedian associated with Abuja’s live comedy scene. Originally from Ihievbe in Edo State, he describes comedy as a way to make people happy while making sense of the world around them.
In a 2023 interview, he explained that his jokes are issue-based, with a purpose to entertain, educate and inform. Collaboration also forms part of his story, including Comedy Bloodline.
He grew up in Abuja, and his story runs from his father’s welding workshop to the radio microphone, where he built a following as a presenter, and on to the stage as a comedian, MC and actor.
